Parent Involvement

Children are connected to their families from before birth, to their culture, community and place. Their families are their first and most influential educators and we believe by having a close relationship with families closes the gap to learning when developing your child’s identity, skills, relationships and knowledge. We want to work with you and your family to give the biggest impact in your child’s learning and lifelong development.

Little Friends Early Learning values parent inputs and contributions to our program and learning. There are plenty of opportunities for parents to get involved, whether it’s as a guest speaker on an area of learning, being part of a group lesson, having your say in our program or policies, or coming along to one of our scheduled events. Whatever your involvement is, you can guarantee, it will have a positive impact on your child’s learning and development.

There are many ways for you to be part of your child’s learning journey.
We encourage feedback on the centre curriculum, centre policies, and in all aspects of our operations.
We also love having our families participate in various events, incursions and daily activities. You can do this by sharing your family’s traditional customs and events with us.
Please talk to one of our friendly educators about how you can be a part of our parent community.

Partnerships with families

We believe that having solid relationships with our families is a vital part of ensuring that we are able to provide the children with the best care and education that they deserve. We aim to ensure that families feel just as much a part of our service and environment as their children who attend. We encourage our families to come and talk with us at any time about their children’s development and any issues or concerns that they may have in regards to their children at any stage. We aim to maintain positive, respectful and open relationships with our families assists us in progress of your child’s development as well as their progression in learning.
