Our Story
Little Friends Early Learning South Wentworthville caters for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age to provide them with the best quality education and care they deserve. Little Friends Early Learning was established in 2021, where it set the goal high to ensure that children within its care were provided with the opportunities to explore the world around them by providing them with environments that foster their natural creativity, willingness to explore and their ability to build strong social and emotional connections not only within the service but the local and surrounding community.
Little Friends Early Learning tailors their education and care program to suit the needs and developmental stage of each individual child within their care. We believe at Little Friends Early Learning that learning and development comes in three stages which is reflected in the names of our rooms within the service. We believe that children begin to discover the world around them and their capabilities before they then continue to explore the world around them through their own ideas and interests. We believe that once they have gone through these developmental stages, they put this into play by becoming the inventors of their own ideas and begin to build upon this knowledge.

Little Friends Early Learning aims to provide families with a unique learning environment that values children’s ideas, thoughts and opinions. Little Friends Early Learning uses play based learning opportunities to foster children’s development and to encourage them to explore their curiosity of the world around them. Most importantly, Little Friends Early Learning encourages children to play, learn, explore and of course make other ‘Little Friends’.
Our mission
Little Friends Early Learning is a service which believes that belonging and building a sense of security which is important to help children build special and long-lasting memories.
The children’s time spent at the service is extremely important to us. We hope that the relationships the children build while at our service last a lifetime.
We believe
At Little Friends Early Learning we believe that no two children are the same, so why should their way of learning be the same. At Little Friends Early Learning the children, their beliefs, values, needs and interests are the foundation of our program and learning environments. At Little Friends Early Learning we use the knowledge and skills of our educators and early childhood theorists such as Piaget, Vygotsky, Steiner and Te Whariki to guide us on providing children with the learning environments needed to foster their love of the world and learning opportunities surrounding them.
