Attendance Policy

Purpose

Regular attendance is essential for a child’s development and learning. This Attendance Policy is designed to promote consistency while maintaining flexibility and understanding for families.

Daily Attendance Expectations

• Children are expected to attend regularly according to their enrolled schedule.
• Arrival and departure times should be respected to ensure smooth daily routines.
• Late arrivals or early departures may disrupt learning activities.

Absences

If a child will be absent, families are encouraged to notify the school as early as possible. This helps us ensure the safety and well-being of all children.

• Planned absences should be communicated in advance.
• Unplanned absences should be reported on the same day.
• Extended absences may require additional communication with the school.

Illness

For the health and safety of the community, children who are unwell should remain at home. Families should inform the school if an absence is due to illness.

Late Arrival & Early Pickup

• Late arrivals should be minimized whenever possible.
• Early pickups should be arranged in advance.
• Identification may be required for authorized pickups.
